The Lake Catholic Track team had another huge showing despite the cold and rain at Bedford High School stadium on Friday night. The girls team took 1st place and the boys took 2nd place!
Connor Duricky, fresh on the heels of making News-Herald player of the week, had another strong showing. He broke the school record for 110M hurdles (again, and this time his own record from the week before) with his 14.50. He also qualified for Nationals in that event and the 300M. He brought back visions of the 2015 State Championship 4x400M with his epic rundown of Rocky River to win it at the finish line. Click here to see it.
Congratulations also goes out to the boys 4x200 team of Kevin Conley, Darius Alston, Ricky Osborne and Connor Duricky for qualifying for nationals with their time of 1:32.33 and 1st place finish.
The girls 4x200M team of Rachael Kotoch, Marissa Fedele, Chloe Keating, & Phallon Ray came very close to the national qualifying time of 1:47.00 with their 1st place finishing time of 1:48.30. We will be watching to see if you can make the mark in the coming weeks!
