This year Lake Catholic sent 2 athletes to the OHSAA Track State Championships on June 3rd and 4th and both of them performed well.
Connor Duricky finished 6th in the 110 meter hurdles with a 14.57, a day after tying his PR of 14.39. He also finished 6th in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 38.35, less than 0.3 seconds off of the leader from Solon. The prior day in prelims he had a PR of 38.06, so it was an excellent day for him overall!
Jacob Keating finished 12th in a field where most of the athletes far exceeded their PR during the race. His time was a near-PR of 9:25.46 and he narrowly beat out Mentor's Joe Polakowski at the finish line for the 3rd week in a row.
Congratulations to Connor and Jacob for representing Lake Catholic so well, again!
